Planning the blog

We started to think about what we were about to put on our blog

On this day, we did the things we were supposed to do. We tried to finish the mind map, and also fill up the data needed with fixed plans.

Doing the ball sorter.

Preparing the materials.

 

 




So basically, this was the body of the ball sorter.

We planned about the way the path of the ball sorter will be placed and made.

And here's the result. :)

This is our first plan, having small and narrow holes therefore giving a small chance for the marbles to fall in time. Soon, we revised the plan and made the path for marbles bigger, making it easier to fall.

This is the platform that we utilized for being the area where the marbles will fall and go to the container.

Fixing the artifact

We measured again the measurements of the path because we decided to remake the paths.

As of this day, this is the result

• Testing the Mechanisms.

   

  We did a better version of our previous path for the marbles will fall faster and with high probability. We also made sure that the marbles won't be able to pass through the sides.

  After so many tries and adjustments, the path seem to work perfectly for both marbles and ping pong balls.

• Painting the ball sorter

 

 

We started with painting the path with white to prepare it

 

 

Then, we painted the platform where the marbles fall with yellow.

 

 

 

With that, we mixed blue and yellow to form green for the body of the sorter: 

 

 

 

Then, we mixed red and blue to form brown for the path:

In the end, we formed this abstract painting :D

After painting, of course, we cleaned the area of work.
